Has that phrase been around for a long time, or did Mark Grace make it up for the first time on the Jim Rome show? I had never heard it before then, and it's never going to stop being funny every time I hear it.

I am sure it was a term before Grace used it, perhaps common among his teammates or even common across the league. But like you, I had never heard it before then, when Grace (or "Gracie" as Rome calls him) used it on the show. Gracie is a piece of work!

I can't hear the term without instantly laughing or mentally connecting it back to that particular interview and the vivid images his description conjurs up.
